We had a fantastic day for Harmony Day at school this week. The TPA did an outstanding job in running Cupcake Day in conjunction with Harmony Day. They raised over $250, with thanks to 4/5 who supplied the cakes.
We then had a multicultural perspectives public speaking competition. There were over 15 entrants who did a fantastic job! The messages of respect, tolerance and acceptance of all people were wonderful to hear.
Earlier in the day we were lucky to be one of the first groups in the world to see the short film Woven Threads which was produced by Mr Sullivan. This film told the story of one woman and her childhood memory of a Christmas in Vienna. It prompted us to think about our own unique stories.
