100wc – Week 23 – Tania

Pushing though the earth I wait for rain as I watch the dry paddocks blew as the wind gets weaker and the farm got dryer and the animals get thirstier. The days pass by slowly and it gets hotter and hotter. I sit in the office looking out the window I do it each and every day.I think of rain.I dream of rain. But it is still not here. Blue sky’s, bright sun and dry paddocks. It has been two years now and there is still no rain it’s still blue sky’s, bright sun and dry paddocks. Days go by and we still wait for the rain to come.

100wc – Week 23 – Duncan

Quiet. Mute. Soundless. There was no sound at all. I had a bad feeling about that. It was too quiet. There was a sudden rumbling. the ground was shaking. “What the heck? What was that?” I exclaimed. Then I saw it pushing through the earth. It was so mysterious. It looked a lot like some sort of machine. Sort of like a drill. Suddenly out of nowhere, a portal appeared. There was a voice coming from the machine, but I couldn’t understand it. The thing went through the portal. I followed it. That’s when I found out what it was. It was amazing what it could do.

Wow i have never seen this before. Its something spectacular. I cant believe my eyes. For many weeks i have not seen this much water. The weeds and the grass pushing through the earth. Even the trees are starting to grow. I am so happy I don’t have to give up my farm. It makes me feel like I’m back alive. my heart is pounding like a drum!

100WC – Week 22 – Toby

It sounded like a jet, it hit the ground with a loud bang across the road
from our house. I ran outside, fascinated, I pushed my way through
the thick, dark, gloomy, forest. I tripped over a vine. I got up and it pulled
at my leg, however I kicked it off and kept running. I could see the bight light
now and then behind it a green glow. I saw it, aliens. Tall, skinny, big eyed
aliens. how could it be? there’s no such thing as aliens. My heart was racing.
then they spotted me…

100WC – Week 22 – Patrick

My torch battery is very low but yet it still shone as bright as that red light over there… …what? A red light? I’ve been stuck in this silly jungle for 11 days. And now I’m out. Done! Finished! Then I look up. A small yellow temple is sitting in the top of the trees. A ladder on one of the trees is standing there. I start to climb. Inside the temple it’s dirty, smelly, dusty and a nit broken from lightning storms. No one was there…

100WC – Week 22 – Jack

As I walk along the Bridge of Darkness a glimpse of light shoots to my eye. Blinded for a minute, I see something like a house also being shot by light. I smell rain in the air. The time has come. Someone else was here; Vulcan Sligo and Oriana de La Force, here in Ireland. Dad started this for me and I’m going to finish it for him. The Double – Key Code dating back to Elizabethan times. Its my inheritance. Names flow through my head, Emily, Tom, Rafe, Gaby, Boges, Winter, Samuel. Its all for these people. Its time.

100WC – Week 21 – Ryan

It’s all over I said to myself. Dead-end he’s got me. “Where are you?”said the mysterious monster leeking in the thick, muddey, green forest. I quickly took a photo before he could kill me. The carera leaped to the ground when he stabbed me with his long thick claw. It was more like a saw than a claw. Meetings were held all across the country to find an answer to the mysterious creature that killed me. They sent parties looking for my body until one of the troops found my camera not far from my body, but the photo had been erased.
